Course Requirements

Although a high school diploma or GED is preferred, they are not mandatory. All that’s really required to enter the Air Conditioning Program at Midland College is a good mechanical ability, a positive attitude, and an interest in learning a new field. If you meet these requirements, please come join us.

The two beginning classes, HART 1401 and HART 1407, are prerequisites for all the remaining classes. Once a student has completed these two classes, they may take any of the remaining classes in any order. All of the remaining classes are offered in a rotating fashion, so if a student is taking two classes per semester, there will always be two classes available.
