Veterinary Technology Program

Mission Statement

The mission of the Midland College Veterinary Technology Program

is to train entry-level Veterinary Technicians in a two year

educational program with the skills and concepts consistent with the

Certified Veterinary Technician Educators Association (CVETA) guidelines.

We aim to provide Companion Animal Practices with qualified

Veterinary Technicians to enhance and simplify the

Veterinarians workload.

Veterinary Technology students have an adequate academic

background to pass the National and State board exams and

become Registered Veterinary Technicians.

We promote the profession of Veterinary Technology

by providing activities and informational events for

our community, sponsored by our student chapter of the

National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA).
