Community Programs Continuing Education/Title V

Secretary

This position will provide support to the Community Programs Continuing Education department and the Title V grant.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide front counter and phone registration assistance
• Perform general office duties to include answering phones, filing, making copies, data entry, and providing customer service
• Assist with the Kids’ College program
• Process requisitions and budget amendments for a $2.8 million five year federal grant
• Maintain Title V project budget in electronic spreadsheet format
• Process and maintain payroll documentation
• Perform annual inventory
• Process travel requests
• Requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking
• Complete monthly Personnel Activity Forms to record time and effort towards Title V grant
• Other clerical duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma/GED; Associate Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
• Two years clerical work experience including working experience with budgets
• One year experience providing customer service
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications and use of office equipment such as printers, scanners, copiers and fax machines
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

SALARY:

$1,758.83 per month. Position funded by a grant. Excellent fringe benefits.
