ASSOCIATE DEGREE NURSING INSTRUCTOR

RESPONSIBILITIES

Midland College is seeking an instructor to direct educational activities and learning experiences for associate degree nursing students in medical/surgical nursing areas.

QUALIFICATIONS

• The applicant should be eligible for or possess a current Texas Registered Nurse license.
• A minimum of three years experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Masters of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) or currently enrolled in a M.S.N program.  Applicants holding a master's degree in a discipline other than nursing shall hold a bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited baccalaureate program in nursing and have at least six semester hours of graduate level content in nursing appropriate to the area or teaching responsibility.
• Experience in OB preferred.
• Previous college teaching experience highly desirable.

SALARY

Salary commensurate with educational qualifications and employment experience.  Excellent fringe benefits.  A teaching position to begin August 18, 2008.  This is a 12-month position.
